im really sick...

...of people saying things like "I'll pray for you", because I do not need prayer. yes, I live with my partner and am intimate with him prior to marriage and do not practice your religion (christianity or catholicism) but I am probably making more strides in improving the world than you are. i understand this might seem immature and rude but it is true. i vote for all people's equal rights and do not allow religion to blind fold my eyes when it comes to such "no duh!" rights such as marriage. i have friends who are so brain washed by their religion it has become problematic. when i am sitting in a car with a friend and she admits she voted yes on prop 8 i pretty much write her off as someone who cannot think for themselves. especially when she has gay friends!!!! while this might be harsh, i believe she is perpetuating hate with her religion by disallowing all the same rights she enjoys thoughtlessly. i also do not eat meat and only buy cruelty-free cosmetics and the like (soaps, shampoos, shaving cream, tooth paste, etc) as well as only buy humanely farmed eggs and milk/cheese. think about what you believe in and why when you deny people their basic freedoms and when you support mass slaughtering and genocide of many people's and animals. exactly wwjd in this situation? think from your heart instead of your head. vegetarianism is my religion and i could not be happier, actually if people ate 2/3 less "meat" and only bought/ate humanely raised "meat" as well as other animals products than i would be. dear santa ;)
